Elephant is excited present Back at Home, a collection of new paintings by Nashville artist Dylan Camp (b. 1997).
Camp's work captures the beauty, mysticism and landscapes of African Americana. With a distinct visual language, Camp explores the tension between tradition and transformation to create worlds that are both familiar and surreal.
In Back at Home, Camp explores the feelings that emerge when we revisit old places with a new perspective. The exhibition is guided by the energy of imagining new possibilities and where that energy can lead us. By taking a look into the depths of familiarity, the exhibition explores deep feelings of belonging in both the remembered past and the imagined future.
